Child Policy

Child below 02 years sharing with adult/s – No Charge
Child 02 to 11 years sharing with 01 or 02 adults – Each child pays 50% of applicable per adult sharing double room rate.
Children 02 to 11 years sharing own / having exclusive use of room - Each child pays 75% of applicable per adult sharing double room rate.

Single Room Rate Policy

A maximum of 5 single rooms per group will be confirmed at single room rates. Thereafter the applicable double rate shall be applied.

Tour Leader

Complimentary accommodation will be granted to Bona Fide Tour Leaders on the basis of 1 per 15 paying pax, provided it is pre-booked and confirmed.

Reservations, Booking Confirmation & Payment

All reservations must be made in writing by letter, telefax or email prior to clients’ arrival. Name lists should be made available as demanded in our correspondence before client’s arrival.

For a booking to be guaranteed, we will require payment of a 50% deposit (refundable per our cancellation policy) within 07 days from the date of our invoice. Where such a deposit is not received by the 07th day a notification shall be sent to you after which on the 08th day, the rooms held will be automatically released. Full payment must be received at least 30 days before arrival date.

Rates/Variation in rates, and/or taxes and/or service charge

All rates are inclusive of all statutory Government taxes, except for any government tax that might be imposed after the publishing of the said rates, which shall be borne by the clients.

Where a booking has been confirmed and paid for, Destination Connect may at its discretion, by not less than one month’s notice in writing to the client, alter the agreed rates. In the event of any appreciation of the Kenya shilling of over 5% vis-à-vis the currency in which the agreement is drawn or any changes in government taxes, training levy or service charge, Destination Connect reserves the right to adjust these rates accordingly, from the date of such changes and/or any variations.

Cancellations and No-Show

Reservations that are cancelled or reduced in length of stay, or numbers, are subject to cancellation charges and no-show fees at the discretion of Destination Connect and are as follows:

15% of the total cost of the safari / beach holiday will be charged for rooms cancelled or reduced in number :

For Low season between 35 and 14 days from noon on the date of arrival
For High season between 50 and 40 days from noon on the date of arrival
For Peak season between 60 and 50 days from noon on the date of arrival

33% of the total cost of the safari / beach holiday will be charged for rooms cancelled or reduced in number :

For Low season between 14 and 2 days from noon on the date of arrival
For High season between 40 and 20 days from noon on the date of arrival
For Peak season between 50 and 30 days from noon on the date of arrival

100% of the total cost of the safari / beach holiday will be charged for rooms cancelled or reduced in number :

For Low season within 48 hours from noon on the date of arrival
For High season within 20 days from noon on the date of arrival
For Peak season within 30 days from noon on the date of arrival
