SAFARI SUMMARY
Spend 03 Nights to Ngorongoro Crater, a world heritage site, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. Then proceed to Lake Manyara National Reserve, a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.

FULL ITINERARY
Day 01 – Ngorongoro Crater
Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport off flight by a Destination Connect representative, briefed and depart with picnic lunch boxes and drive for 03 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend down the steep walls of the caldera for a Half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
Day 02 – Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast and then descend down the steep walls of the caldera for another Half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. The Park is a paradise of woodlands and lakes that provide for abundant wildlife. Gazelle, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest as well as big cats, particularly the black manned lion, leopards and hyena. A multitude of birds including flamingos are sighted regularly. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro crater has been called a Garden of Eden. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge
Day 03 – Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes and drive to Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge, arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge. At 1600 hrs, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is situated spectacularly between the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and Lake Manyara. The most famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of Acacia trees. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 04 – Depart
Depart Lake Manyara after breakfast and drive back to Arusha. Early lunch at the Impala Hotel followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight departing to Nairobi at 1540 hrs, which will connect onto your outbound flight.
