SAFARI SUMMARY

Spend 10 days exploring Uganda. Start with Kampla City, Lake Bunyonyi, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kyamburu Gorge Forest, Murchison Falls National Park, Entebbe

FULL ITINERARY

Day 1 - Kampala
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport,  met by Destination Connect representative and  transfer to the Kampala Sheraton Hotel. Overnight at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

Day 2  - Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast depart from Kampala and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi in the South Western part of Uganda via Mbarara and Kabale. (8 hrs. drive)  Lunch at the Regency Lake View Hotel Mbarara.  Overnight at Bushara Island Camp

Day 3 - Lake Bunyonyi
Morning excursion  on Lake Bunyonyi with lunch on the island.  Afternoon activities at leisure around the camp such as canoeing, crayfishing, or hiking. Dinner and overnight at Bushara Island Camp.

Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ntungamo.  Lunch stop at Jacana Safari Lodge situated on the edge of Lake Nyamusungiri. Visit the bat cave

Day 5 - Kyambura Gorge Forest
After breakfast, Kyambura Gorge forest walk and or a game drive.  Lunch at the lodge, then in the afternoon you have a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, where you will see a variety of colourful birds, hundreds of Hippos, Elephants and perhaps even a Lion on the banks of the channel. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 6 -  Kyambura Gorge Forest
Wake up early, have a game drive and then return to the lodge for breakfast.  Lunch at Mweya Lodge.  In the afternoon proceed for a 4 hrs. drive to Ndali Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - Murchison Falls National Park
Very early departure from Ndali Lodge for a long journey to Murchison Falls National Park, a scenic route via Lake Albert.Picnic lunch a long the way.Dinner and overnight at the beautiful Paraa Safari Lodge overlooking the River Nile.

Day 8 -Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, launch trip on the River Nile, a 3 hour boat Safari from Paraa to
the base of the Murchison Falls.  Return to the Camp for lunch. Afternoon have a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge

Day 9 - Entebbe
Morning game drive up to the top of the falls.  Short walk around    the top of the falls from where you can walk down to the river's edge and see the waters narrow as they are forced through a rocky cleft and plunge down 35 meters in a majestic cascade.  Return to Entebbe via Masindi and Kampala.  Then continue to the Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Depart
After breakfast, transfer to the airport with the free Windsor Hotel shuttle (B)

Cost of Safari Includes:
*  Full Board Accommodation and meals (as specified in the itinerary),                 excluding drinks, snacks, laundry, telephone bills etc.
*  Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, excluding drinks, snacks, laundry,                 telephone bills etc. at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel & Windsor
*    Park Entrance Fees to all National Parks visited
*   Entrance fees in Bushara
*    Launch trips and boat trips (personal tickets)
*    Internal Transportation for 10 days in a 4 Wheel Drive Vehicle, inclusive of driver, driver's allowances, fuel, mileage and taxes

Cost of Safari Excludes:
*   Any tips to porters, guides etc
*   Any cost of a personal nature, eg. drinks, laundry, tips, etc.
*    Cost of Leisure activities on Lake Bunyonyi
