GORILLAS, WILDLIFE AND CHIMPANZEE HABITUATION TOUR
Day one: Arrive Entebbe, met on arrival by our
representative with a placard with your names. The drive to Kampala
takes approximately 45 minutes. Check in into your Hotel for overnight

Day Two: Morning travel through Bombo and on to
the Murchison Falls National Park. A drive through the scenic escarpment
and riverine forest gets you to the top of the falls where a picnic
lunch is provided in the Bush overlooking the Scenic Murchison Falls.
There after, tour the bat caves and explore the different viewpoints
and the refreshing spray as the Nile crashes through different rapids
from a 7-metre gap to fall over 40 metres below. Later travel to
the banks of the Nile for dinner and overnight listening to the
sounds of Hippos, crickets and the roar of the Nile. Meals and overnight

Day Three: Early morning breakfast then board your
4x4 custom built safari vehicle and take the morning ferry across
the River Nile on to the northern bank where your ranger guide will
organize educational lectures on a walking safari through the Savannah.
Game viewing will be done aboard your open topped safari vehicle
in search of Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Lion, Jackal, Hartebeest and
birdlife. The drive gets us to the Pakuba Lodge area where your
picnic lunch is served in the cool shade overlooking the Albert
Nile. Thereafter, we drive to Paraa where the waiting launch cruise
will take you to have with close up photo opportunities of schools
of Hippo, crocodile, water birds, sometimes elephants and other
wildlife that comes down for a drink in the afternoon heat. On docking
at the mid River Island, you will take pictures of the Murchison
Falls before returning to Paraa and on to Paraa Safari Lodge www.ParaaLodge.com

Day Four: After breakfast travel through the western
escarpment along the Lake Albert and travel to Kibale Forest Park.
After a picnic lunch, you take a drive through the villages and

arriving for dinner. Transit time: 6 - 7 hours depending on the
road conditions and the season.
Day Five: Breakfast, early and travel to the briefing point
where you will meet your chimpanzee trekking guides. The trekking
starts following the different trails as you search for the chimpanzees,
red tailed Monkeys, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys. Return to Ndali for
lunch then drive to the Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving through
the Leopard loop in search of the rare leopard and the Giant Forest
Hog. Dinnertime finds you at the Mweya Safari Lodge, which is nested
on a peninsular overlooking the Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon,
Kazinga Channel, Lake Edward and Lake George. Overnight at Mweya

Day Six: You are out of your bed by 0 530hours to have
a hot coffee or tea and packed breakfast before starting your drive
by 0600 hours. The drive to the game viewing area takes about 1
hour, which gets you to the Kasenyi track to see the animals at
sunrise. Look out for Lion, Uganda Kob, Waterbuck and bushbuck,
Warthogs, Spotted Hyena, Cape buffalo and other wildlife. After
breakfast, take a leisurely drive back to the Hotel for an afternoon
swim and lunch before taking a cruise on the casing Channel. It
is believed that the largest concentration of hippo in Africa is
here. Resident and migrant birds, Monitor Lizard, solitary buffalo
are all seen here. At the end of this trip, a camp fire at the hotel

Day Seven: Drive down through the Ishasha sector
of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in the afternoon for a
transit game drive on the way to the Bwindi Impenetrable forest.
If lucky, you may see the tree-climbing lions on the fig trees that
line the main road to Kihihi. After a picnic lunch, drive to Bwindi
arriving for dinner and overnight at The Gorilla Resort Bwindi.

This new Intimate exclusive high end safari camp with a breath taking
view of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is located at Buhoma - Bwindi
Impenetrable Gorilla National Park on a Mountain side. The camp
has been constructed and built to the highest standards whilst retaining
sympathy with the local surroundings. Wherever possible we have
used local materials and craftsmen. The camp is composed of a main
lodge which includes a Restaurant, Bar, Suspended decked seating
and viewing area with camp fire and Kitchen where we have our own

water] While each of the accommodations is fitted with a Victorian
Ball and Claw-foot Brass Bathtub. The Camp is equipped with comfortable
beds and furniture or if you prefer we have cottages which include
similar facilities to the tents. Both tents and cottages command
spectacular panoramic views of the forest and just below is the
River Munyaga in this Mosquito- free zone.
Day Eight: Breakfast early and travel to the staging area
for a briefing for your gorilla trekking/tracking. Later, with trackers,
guides and security personnel, start your hike through the Impenetrable
forest in search of the Gorillas. Looking for traces of eaten vegetation,
dung, hair, and the nests, you will finally get to meet and see
the gorillas for approximately an hour. Thereafter, you will have
your picnic lunch and walk back to camp for evening(optional) entertainment
by the traditional dancers. Or enjoy cocktails by the camp fire

Day Nine: Morning after breakfast, drive through
terraced evergreen Mountains referred to ad the Little Switzerland
of Africa. Have lunch at the Motel Agip in Mbarara and later drive
to Lake Mburo National Park. A Game drive at dusk introduces Zebra,
Impala,Topi, Cape Buffalo and other Plains game. Arrive for a bush

Day Ten: After a very early morning breakfast,
the ranger guide will take you through a Bush walking experience
through the African Wilderness. The walk involves moving through
the Savannah grasslands stalking the un suspecting Zebra and other
wildlife, through the Hyena's Den, on through the swamp and ending
at the Lake. Have lunch at the camp then proceed to the Lake Mburo
where a speedboat takes you close to the Hippos, crocodiles and
other wildlife on Lake Mburo. Return in the evening for dinner and

Day Eleven: Breakfast, and then drive to Entebbe with picnic
lunches. A speedboat will be waiting for you for your trip to the
famous Chimpanzee Island. Arrive by about 2:30 for a briefing before
heading to the feeding area where you will participate in the feeding
of the juvenile chimps. (Please note that you will be required to
have shots of Hepatitis A and B, Measles, (or had the disease as
a child, Meningococcal/menomune vaccine, Polio, tetanus-up to date

Day Twelve: Morning after breakfast, start the
morning forest walk with the juvenile chimpanzees. You will be allowed
to hold them while in the forest and you should expect to get very
dirty courtesy of the playful chimpanzees. In the afternoon, take
